After fueling up at the Kwikery in Platteville, Heckawee were led to a new settlement of women in Lancaster, WI. They could not stay as Coach had them on strict schedule.
But the day was too beautiful and the climbs too long and the views too inspiring to stay on track. They traveled in the wrong direction and GPS took over to get them back to Mount Hope in time to meet 60 bikers at a friendly establishment.
Guapo discovered a new friendly species.
Another day without Pittz.
Maybe you can get Mag to come down and be the protected rider in the Tour de Donut!! Although, Berto may be the man for the event. It'll be like Astana with two leaders....
ReplyDeleteOh, we're working on it. Trying to find a local horse for him to ride. Guapo has his doubts about the sheer number of donuts he can ingest in the heat. Now, Tour de Sausage... That would be a landslide.
ReplyDeleteWell, given that you have Mag's old Litespeed, I take it that he'll only come back if he can ride a large smelly animal at some point in the trip.
ReplyDeleteBerto will have to work on pastry, it may be his weak spot. Still, I think with some training he could be putting down negative numbers in the TDD.
